We are always looking for new team members of all levels and have a rigorous application, selection and interview process that mirrors NHS standards of safer recruitment.  We don’t use freelance staff or individuals on an ‘ad-hoc’ basis nor do we recruit from social media or use staff offering their services.

Our Requirements

Minimum age 18 years old at the time of making an application to work with us (21 years old for any roles that require driving vehicles for us)

To undergo an enhanced DBS check if successful at interview (If you hold a previous certificate we may accept it if it is less than three years old and you are registered with the update service)

Have a satisfactory level of written and spoken English language

A minimum of two satisfactory references from previous employment or academia

Evidence of relevant vaccinations (Hepatitis B minimum)

Pass basic occupational health screening

Role Specific Requirements

Hold a current FREC 3 or FREC 4 course.

Hold a FREC 3 and FREC 4 and SALM course as a minimum.  Those holding an AAP or EMT qualification and with formal sign off on the use of emergency medicines can apply.

A Qualified Nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be working in an emergency department, critical care or urgent care setting.

A qualified Paramedic must have completed and have been signed off from NQP and have a minimum of 1 year experience post NQP.

A Qualified and registered Paramedic, Nurse or Physiotherapist with a minimum experience of 5 years and holding an additional qualification at an advanced practice level and be working as such assessing, treating and discharging patients autonomously.

Must be registered with the GMC with a licence to practice, have been qualified for a minimum of 3 years and not needing to work in an approved practice setting.  Doctors must hold a current ALS, APLS and trauma care qualification such as ATLS, PHECC, ATACC or the Dip IMC.
